The Victorian Pill Testing Service
The Victorian Pill Testing Service is a free, legal and confidential drug checking service that analyses your drugs and tells you what’s in them.
We provide accurate information and non-judgemental health and harm reduction advice to help you make safer decisions about your drug use.
Check your drugs at 95 Brunswick Street
We are at 95 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy next to Palmer Street. Look for the purple door. Reception is inside.
We are on the #11 and #86 tram routes. The nearest train station is Parliament (900m). There is 1 hour free parking and metered parking available on Brunswick Street and surrounds.
This service is here to help everyone who uses drugs - no matter what your experience is.
We test most pills, capsules, powder, crystals or liquids. We can’t test plants, edibles or very diluted substances.
Our service is legal and anonymous. No identifying information is collected, and you cannot be arrested or charged for possession if you are accessing the service.
Outside of the service area, the usual laws regarding possession apply. Please only bring a small sample with you.
We also run mobile drug checking sites at selected festivals and events across Victoria.
For more information about our services, please visit our FAQs or call us at 1800 762 844.
